Our mission here is to attract as many like-minded individuals as possible to join this ongoing conversation about what it takes to create a life of meaning and success.

This week, you’ll find 3 incredible episodes.

First up is my friend and prominent civic leader Miguel Santana. Miguel is the CEO of the Weingart Foundation, one of the most important philanthropic institutions in the SoCal region. He’s dedicated his life to public service and is one of the most thoughtful people I’ve ever come across. When I invited Miguel to the show, I was hoping to showcase two things:

  1. What inspired and effective civic leadership looks like and

  2. What can happen when you dedicate your life to serving your community.

Spoiler alert! This conversation did not disappoint. In it, you will find insight into some very complex dynamics in our society, fascinating personal revelations, and most importantly, some inspiration.

Next up we have Jack Farley, the host of the ever-more popular Forward Guidance podcast, where I recently made an appearance. I met Jack several years ago when he was at Real Vision and we immediately connected over our shared passions for finance, history, and the art of investing. It’s no surprise to me that Forward Guidance has become such an important voice in the world of finance and economics today. Jack is an astute, passionate financial journalist and commentator and a phenomenal interviewer and listener.

Given that he spends his days talking with some of the brightest minds in economics and finance in the world today, I had a feeling this would be a fun conversation! In it, we discuss everything from how Jack approaches the art of investing to what he would do if he were in charge of the Fed to how he got into this financial world in the first place. There are many takeaways here but what shines through for me is this: Jack is someone who has created a thriving life of meaning simply by not being afraid to follow his authentic curiosity without reserve and then share it with the world. What a great example for all of us.

Finally, we have John Njoku, a fellow real estate entrepreneur and one of my closest friends. John is someone I talk to almost every day and has been especially supportive of this whole creative experiment. He reads every Profit+ article and is always challenging my thinking with interesting follow-up questions and ideas. Like many of you, he’s been pushing me to do this whole podcast thing for quite some time.

So, as we were working on all the behind-the-scenes prep work for the podcast, I decided to invite John to come on the show as a guest host for an Ask Me Anything conversation. No surprise I guess, but what came out of it was so fun, natural, and interesting (I think!) that you’ll be seeing more of John in the coming weeks.

Thank you for all your support. Hope you enjoy!
