New episode with David Rabie

🎧New podcast episode Thank you all for tuning in to the Nick Halaris Show. I’ve gotten such great feedback from many of you and our numbers are already on the rise! I sincerely appreciate all your support.

This week are joined by David Rabie, the founder and CEO of Tovala, a venture-backed company revolutionizing the food industry. David has created a really unique and successful business in a very competitive and challenging sector. While many prominent companies operating in the space have failed (e.g. Juicero) or struggled to make a profit (e.g. Blue Apron), David and his team have put Tovala on a path of sustainable profitability. No easy task, especially given that this all happened during the COVID crisis, the subsequent venture market collapse, and the failure of Silicon Valley Bank!

Even though I’ve known David for years and wanted to have him on the show precisely to highlight his leadership capabilities, I walked away from our conversation floored by just how far he’s come. What you’ll see here in this episode is a vision for truly exceptional leadership. What’s so unusual and impressive is that David brings to the table a unique combination of both tangible business talent and the intangible marks of truly great leadership.

We may live in a time where things like quiet confidence, humility, and the willingness to be vulnerable are ignored altogether or seriously discounted but these are the qualities that make a leader. This, I’m convinced, is the secret to David’s success and something we can all learn from.

Hope you enjoy!
