I wanted to have Tyler on the show to pick-up on our examination of the principles of leadership. For anyone serious about citizenship and having an authentic impact in the world, learning how to be an effective, inspiring leader is required work. These days, we hear so much in the news about all that’s going wrong but there are passionate people like Tyler out there trying to show us all a better way. To prepare for this discussion, I listened to a ton of episodes from Tyler’s podcast and walked away feeling really energized. Not only does Tyler do a great job breaking down best practices for impactful leadership but also, he showcases some inspiring socially conscious leaders who are putting people first, prioritizing values over profits, and achieving impressive results.

We cover a lot of fascinating ground in this engaging discussion and while we had a lot of fun, we also had some serious moments. Tyler shared a tragic childhood story about the death of his little brother and how his desire for his brother’s life to mean something has inspired him to become such a passionate messenger for a positive vision of leadership. Tune in to learn more about this and:

  • Why dealing with insecurities is a must for anyone serious about leadership

  • How he figured out that he had a tendency to be too intense and learned how to overcome it

  • Why actually caring about the people you lead is a superpower

  • How the willingness to be consistently vulnerable is a leader’s key to having the tough conversations when necessary

    &

  • All the reasons why the positive hype around Coach Prime’s leadership is actually deserved

As always, thanks again for tuning-in!
